Slackware 13, using the CD image disc 1 (the one I believe is the install cd) doesn't seem to be able to boot on any system, on any cd or dvd drive, without giving a Kernel Panic.

I have a late MBP that came out of the box with 4GB and had not given a single freeze or Kernel Panic before the 10.5.6 and EFI 1.6 updates.

I had the same problem but I believe the issue at login is different to the crash (Kernel Panic).
